In case you haven’t noticed, MAKERS, a digital storytelling platform, is doing an awesome job of chronicling women’s stories. MAKERs has a video archive of hundreds of inspirational stories about women who have made enormous contributions in diverse fields including the arts, business, sports, education, politics, organizing and technology.

One of my favorite stories in the series “Extraordinary Women Talk About Their First Jobs” is Susan Wojcicki’s.

Susan is the CEO of YouTube and met Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page early on. But guess what? Her first job out of college was as a receptionist for a tech startup. She quickly realized she didn’t want to be the receptionist so she started taking computer science classes. And the rest, as they say, is history or herstory

Check out the amazing videos to see how these women got to where they are now.
