About Me
I’m a content strategist, editor, and media and communications consultant who helps businesses and leaders find their voice.
Versatile writer, editor, and strategist
I partner with organizations that are looking to enhance their written and multimedia content and elevate their brand, both internally and externally. I tap my interviewing skills to develop robust thought leadership programs for executives and subject matter experts from ideation through execution.
Curiosity, creativity, and collaboration
I bring an abundance of curiosity about people, ideas, and problem-solving to your work and enjoy close collaborations. I thrive on big-picture thinking, tend not to sweat the small stuff, and place a premium on creativity and continuous learning.
Mentoring and coaching
I enjoy teaching writing and journalism at New York University and Montclair State University as an adjunct instructor. Service-minded, I support non-profits as an adviser and founding member of Seward Park Conservancy and am a classroom writing coach with Behind the Book. Previously, I was a mentor with Girls Write Now.
My path to the present
I began my career as a correspondent for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette newspaper covering local news and features. I segued to the Associated Press where on any given day, I might cover a press conference on economic development, a grieving family reeling from a paralyzing loss, or the oldest living woman.
I eventually transitioned to business reporting and editing, covering news and trends in the retail, consumer electronics, technology, internet, digital marketing, and media sectors. Later, I served as founding editorial director for a multimedia startup, created original content for a digital research firm, and became a content strategist for global technology companies.
