In February 2007, I served as a commentator for AOL during its 25-city satellite media tour discussing ads in the Super Bowl XLI broadcast and trends with respect to consumer-created ads. I sat in a studio for five hours and did live and taped interviews with news anchors at TV stations throughout the U.S. The most challenging part? Not being able to see who I was speaking to, staring at a blank monitor and, uh, smiling energetically!
